The Innkeeper

" Innkeeper" had a daughter fair
Rounded chest, and Auburn hair
Allday long she ran around
Delivering ale,spilling on the ground
Customer`s loved this " Maiden Fair "
Looks not mattered, they not care
This poor lass, she had one leg
That`s right folks, a wooden peg
Menfolk gazed, a glorious sight
As she moved, throught the night
Comment`s said, comment`s made
About this " Bucsom", fair haired maid
Was she good, was she bad
Only one that really know`s
Ask her
" Dad"

" Peace and Love "

Crested wave`s, caress the sand

Stroking softly, with watery hand

Ghostly shadow`s, out to sea

Cloud`s above, on me they look

Sending thought`s of

" Peace and Love "

Mountain`s rise, distance far

Echoing, high in the sky

Approval shown, from above

Sending thought`s of

" Peace and Love "

Bird, flies by, on crested wing

Calling out, it do say

Lord to you

Up above

Thankyou for

your

" Peace and Love "

Daily Thought

New week
Brand new day
What will life
Bring this way
Faith,hope
Who know`s what
Discontent, element
Is this really
Heaven sent
Strife, war
Many more,
Who know`s what
Thought, grief
Pain, suffering
Justice,relief
Turning of
Another leaf
Who know`s what
Rain, wind
Heat and more
Disruption, contempt
Thoughts,many
All come true
Who know`s what
No, yes
Shall we guess
Life good, life mess
Only us can,
Really know!!!!
As daily, on we go

A Life

T`was year of 44

When I arrived at the door

" Of Life "

Not knowing, where or when

It`s turning circle

Would lead and end

As I grew older. and understood

That life is full of twists and turns

Up`s and down`s

An adventure I behold

The hate and torment of

Everyday things

Can bring mistrust to the meaning

" Of Life"

Adventures of life, are short lived

On and on we to go to explore

We can believe, we can mistrust

But in the end, life is a must

For all to see, enjoy at best

Eventually to find a place to rest

Now the year of 2009

Surely, it must be, my time

Enjoy the things God be-throthe

On us, the human race

For everyone, there is a place

Be black or white, no matter what

Enjoy my friends

It is our, time

To rejoice, in the meaning of

" Life "

Lament to a Seagull

Seagull, Seagull, in the sky
Floating by, so very high
Kept up by thermals, from the sea
Such a pretty sight to see
" Huh " "Huh", he`s dropped the lot
On me, the dirty " Git"
Covering me, with seagull s!!!
Oh my God, what a disgrace
Seagull s!!!, running down my face
Seagull, Seagull, fly away
Go mess up someone else today!!
Your return, not required
Or you find, you are fired
From the job, you so love
By our Lord, up above
Another silly thought!!

Clouds

Clouds of grey,clouds of white

Tinted orange, by sunlight

Early morning, what I see

Beautifull colours,in front of me

Pale blue sky, vast and neat

Gently treading, so discreet

Across this earth, vast and wide

Those clouds, pass by, soft and low

Backwards, forwards, on they go

Destinations, unknown to me

Eventually, floating out to sea

Birds fly by, clouds they flout

Gently, dashing, in and out

Hidden by, your dusky haze

Everymore, to amaze

Star protrudes,from your depth

Twinkling. approval from afar

May your journey, far and wide

Fill your day with, joy and pride

So my friend, I do say

Have another joyous day

Cave

Cave so big, open wide
What secrets do you hide
Your size, so great
Your secrets, I anticipate
Enter slowly, bending low
Down and down I must go
Onto treasures, may I find
A bone, a skull, and much more
Treasures abound on your floor
Roof so high, icicles hang
Smiling brightly
Bat`s shoot by, in great delight
Speeding through your great height
The air, so still with content
Surely, this was heaven sent
Lower, lower, do I saunter
A lowly stream
Clear running water in it`s depth
Fish dart, to and fro
Shining in the ebbing flow
The size, the depth, it does amaze
Further down, I tread slowly
The ghostly air, all around
Colours grey, black and brown
Eary silence, does prevail
In this cave, a holy grail
Of what life was in the past
This adventure, to never end
Bottom reached, time is short
Return I must at some stage
More adventure in this
" Cave"
